I want to share a story that has touched me so deeply in prayer. I came across Jenn's blog a few weeks ago, and I can't even begin to tell you just how much I was touched by her faith. Her son Paxton was born on October 8, 2009 with only half a heart. There family has gone through a journey most of us wouldn't even know how to handle, so I ask that you keep them in your prayers. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jenn, but reading her blog has touched me so much. She seems like such a strong, Christian woman that I have the upmost respect for. I encourage each of you to stop by her blog and read her families story and keep them in your prayers. Little Paxton is absolutely adorable!
Oh, and the song you hear on my blog, is a song that has touched Jenn. I find it very enjoyable to hear.

"Show us your life- Thanksgiving Recipes and Traditions"
Today's theme from Kelly is...
First off, I can't believe it is really about to be Thanksgiving!! Where has the time gone?!?! I have to admit I am loving the holidays and especially more now with the kiddos and all. They have just added so much joy to this time of year!
Okay, so I have never really cooked an actual Thanksgiving dinner, but I have helped if that counts! We have always had Thanksgiving at my mom's house up until last year when she sold the house and now that I am married at my in-laws as well. So we get TWO meals that day, which I am not complaining about! I love FOOD! lol.
Up until last year my mom sold her house(the one we grew up in) so Thanksgiving had to change. I actually hosted Thanksgiving last year at my house for my family, which was such a neat experience and a nice change for everyone. I have to give credit to my mom, because she stayed over that night and helped me prepare everything, so I wasn't alone- good thing! It was so much work and I have never cooked a Turkey that BIG! We just made the usual Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, mac n' cheese, yams, green bean casserole and cranberry's. I never knew how easy cranberries were to make, for some reason I always thought it was a lot of work... you can sign me up for that anytime! lol. :-)
Oh, and I fogot to mention my yummy desserts... Those always top off any dinner! ;-)
I am not sure what this year holds for us, but I am thinking we will have Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's house and then we'll get to host Christmas! Since my mom and brother will be in Vegas partying it up! :-)

"Thankful Thursday"
WoW, first off I can't believe today is Thursday already... not that I am complaining by any means, just sayin'!

So this week I am Thankful for...
The TIME CHANGE, didn't think I would like it, but I do. (Kids go to bed earlier and it's day light when I go to work)
My mom for cooking dinner last night for us! - We are trying to start a once a week thing where she cooks for us! I am lovin' it too, and it gives her a chance to actually COOK! lol.
My HUSBAND for spending more time in the evenings with me! (He is usually always into sports and the laptop)
My KIDDOS for just being themselves and always making me smile while pulling out my hair! :-)
The utility bills going way DOWN! (Thank God for that one)
This HOUSTON weather... It's absolutely been perfect!
So... How about you? What are you Thankful for this week?
(Oh, and feel free to use my button- I totally just threw something together while finding my inner designer skills-LOL)

"Wishful Wednesday~ Re.live"
'I wish' .... I could re-live MY 21ST BIRTHDAY over and over again!!!
It was back in February of 2002 when Steven took me to Cabo San Lucas for my 21st birthday... Boy did we have the time of our life's! This was before we had kids, and heck even before we were married so we had no worries in the world! hehe..
We stayed there for a whole week... we got to go horse back riding on the beach, rent ATV's, play golf on this amazing course, snorkle(which I wasen't too fond of at first), relax on the beach and more importantly spend time together with just the two of us!
I wish all the time that we can go back there again just once more! (Sorry the pictures aren't that great, we were using a water camera. Heck, I don't think I even owned a digital camera then! lol.)

"November is HERE"
Wow, I can not believe it is November already!! You mean to tell me Thanksgiving is around the corner?? And then it's Christmas!! YIKES!! I haven't even bought one Christmas gift yet.. and I keep telling myself I am going to start early every year. Perhaps I should just give that up! Sunday while I was out, I did manage to buy both my sisters a Birthday gift(their birthdays are in December, along with everyone else I know!). So I guess that's something right?
I think what I am going to do is try and buy one Christmas gift every weekend from here on out. The kids are easy, one trip to Toys R' Us and we are golden! That's what we did last year and it worked out perfect! The adults are my problem, but I think I found a hot spot that I can get everyone on my list a little something, so we'll see. And NO I can't tell you where it is, because then I will have officially screwed myself! Haha..

"Old Town Spring"
We had the best time yesterday in Old Town Spring! Not to mention it was the perfect day to be outside, we could not have asked for better weather. We didn't plan on going out there, but we were out and about shopping and just ended up out that away. It was kind of nice just shopping around, and not having to search for something specific. Good thing, because I can NEVER find what I am looking for when I am LOOKING for something in particular... Anyone else have that problem?? It's always when I am NOT looking that I find stuff!
We ended up having lunch outside at this little train station serving bar-b-que, it was really good too! After that we stopped for some good ol' ice cream and funnel cakes! Mmmm.. :-)
I didn't have my big camera, cause like I said we hadn't planned on going out there, but I did manage to have my little one! YAY!! So I tried to get a few pics of Katelynn, since it was such a nice day out!
This one ended up being my favorite!! I just love her little smile, melts my heart!
She is BIG into saying "cheese" right now, just in case you couldn't tell! lol.
Ooh Ooh... And these are some of my great finds yesterday.. I love this new apron I got, it's so ME! :-) Not to mention this key chain that I fell in love with, I know it's going to drive my husband bonkers!! He is always giving me a hard time about having too many things on my key chain! But hey, it's my car right?!?!
