Kids meet Santa & Cookies

Sunday was a productive one to say the least.. not only did we accomplish ice skating, we also paid a visit to the big guy with a white beard. After waiting a very long three hours it was our turn. The kids couldn't have been more happier and me, well it was worth the wait. Jacob asked Santa for a motorcycle and Katelynn asked for a stick pony. Lucky for me I have both! ;)

and yes, I'm a sucker for the mall Santa, let's just call it a tradition.


I have to share with you this fabulous Chocolate Cake Reeses Peanut Butter Cookie that Picky Palate herself came up with.. trust me, you will thank me later. One they are easy as pie and two they are delish! I snapped a picture for you to drool over..

  8. 3 hour wait? GEEZ! Great pictures! those cookies look very good. I did my baking all weekend and am finished...so although they look yummy, NO MORE flour, eggs and sugar for me!!!

  13. My daughter loves anything with peanut butter, I guess because Elvis did and he's her idol. I wish we had a mall here in Rome. We have shopping centers but they are nowhere near the American ones that I remember. But, better than nothing. We will get there someday here!
