This weekend's been pretty laid back if I must say.. we've been able to get a lot done too, so that's always a plus. Friday I had all my niece's and nephew's from my side of the family over for playtime. They all had such a blast and man were we busy, luckily I had my sister there to help! I let them play in the water for a bit and caught my nephew helping himself to a drink. I about died laughing watching him suck on that faucet. Yuck! That afternoon my mom took Katelynn for a slumber party and Jacob and I went to get my nails and toes done. He was such a trooper and almost got a little too comfortable.. he fell asleep in the spa chair. It was pretty cute and all the ladies were just loving him. That night I concidered myself a lucky lady, cause I had a date night with not one, but two of my boys!

Saturday the kids spent the day with my mom, she took them to see Brave and swimming. While they were off having fun, mommy and daddy took advantage and did a little shopping and paid our newest little nephew a visit. I am positive this was his first smile!! I am his favorite!! LOL. I am on the hunt for a dining room set and haven't found one yet, though I've only been to three places. We did manage to pick up the wood flooring and are hoping to have that installed this week. I actually found the perfect mirror for it today, so that's a step in the right direction! This room has been long overdue and I can't wait to get it finished up. We spent the remainder of the afternoon grilling out and letting the kids play outback.

Today's been another easy going day.. we did a little more furniture shopping, paid a visit to Lowe's, got daddy's car washed and are now grilling out yet again. Man, have I mentioned just how much I love summer?!? My husband's been playing chef these last couple days and I must say I'm getting a little spoiled{I usually do the cooking}. I'm so not looking forward to another work week. This one's going to be tough too.. my mom is scheduled to have a knee replacement on Wednesday, so things are going to be a little out of schedule for a while. Oooh, just got the call that dinner is ready, so I've gotta run, literally! ;)
