I'm still here by the way.. This weekend was fun.. we squeezed in plenty of down time and it seemed to be just what our family needed. Friday we had dinner at a local mexican resteraunt that is slowly becoming my favorite, there is a never a wait! That day the kids and I got an early start and wiped out a bunch of things on my never ending to-do list, so by night time bedtime was a sinch.

Saturday the boys got up super early and headed out for a golf outing, it was J's first, so it was very special. I made sure daddy took some pictures for me to document. ;) K and I went with my mother-in-law to a bridal shower {K got an early bday card}, that was super fancy.. they had cake and cupcakes! YUM! After that we did a little school shopping and managed to get K three pairs of new shoes. I just have a few things left I want to get to get her started for the year. I'm still trying to get over the fact that my little girl is just weeks away from starting school.. so exciting!

Today was very laid back.. nothing on the agenda. We spent the morning hanging around the house watching movies.. it felt great. This afternoon I took the kiddos over to my aunt's for some pool time.. K has officially ditched her floaties.. I am so proud of her. She's been very determined this summer and it's shows.

Looks like we made it home just in time, as the dark clouds are rolling in and the thunder is roaring.
Here's to another week.. I have a good feeling about this one.
