Thanksgiving 2012

Sunday, November 25, 2012

was loads of fun and family time. The kiddos had a blast and we all had full bellys. My turkey was a hit and as a matter of fact it was such a hit that I am now in charge of making one for our Christmas dinner. Go me!! I also managed to get a few spontaneous family pics out of the deal.. double win! :)

The day after Thanksgiving we took a quick little road trip to visit my granny and other family that was in town from Flordia that I haven't seen well since before I had the kids. The kiddos had a blast and they love the country.. kind of don't know what kid wouldn't to be honest. For my son it was like a field of heaven full of all the dirt and sticks he could possibly handle. LOL.

My aunt had a few games lined up for them.. the sack races were a favorite.

I also managed to get a group pic of everyone that was there.. :)

Thanksgiving 2012

These last few days have been very relaxing.. we've been spending our evenings at home enjoying all the free movie channels we have for this week, doing a few house projects and oh yeah hitting up black Friday like we owned the place! I'm not gonna lie I'm usually the one that does all the Christmas shopping, so when the husband decided to go with me this year and brave the whole black Friday crowd I was totally down. I have you know team work pays off.. we got every person on our list as well as playing Mr. & Mrs. Claus AND getting a little something for ourselves. That's what I call a very successful shopping trip all in a matter of hours. Now all that's left is wrapping, which I am not that great at nor do I enjoy, but I'm not complaining that's for sure. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.. I'm off to start my Christmas decorating!

Happy Sunday!
