So the past few days we've been keeping ourselves pretty busy to say the least. Thursday before dance class the kids and I took in our great backyard. The weather here has been amazing, but fast forwarding to the week ahead looks to be a bit on the chilly side. I'm not gonna complain though, because the cold never seems to last long when it comes. You see that cute little so called innocent looking pup.. yeah, he's walking a very thin line these days. I don't understand how something so small and cute can be such a pain in my rear!

 

After we got K from school I decided to let them burn some more energy at the park. Like I said having such nice weather it's kind of hard to say no and stay inside for too long. They played for about an hour until they could play no more. The time change for me has been bittersweet. I like the fact that it gets dark early because the kids see it and think it's bedtime and it's only 7:00. I don't like it because it feels like it's 10:00 at night and it's really only 8:00. I guess we'll adjust, I mean it's not like we have a choice in the matter do we? ;)

Saturday I had plans to go with my sister and her sister-in-law to the Nutcracker Market. I was so excited to go and it was a first for me. Needless to say it's on my list of "yearly go-to's". They had everything you could imagine and the Christmas decor was insane. Prior to starting my day I took full advantage of "my time" and treated myself to a pedicure. The kids spent the day with daddy and from the sounds of it had a blast. They had McDonald's for lunch and then spent the afternoon at the zoo with their cousins.

Today we are in full relaxation mode and ready for some football as my husband would say.
