This weekend was seemingly pretty busy after all, but loads of fun. My husband had the entire week off, I know lucky dog although I only worked three days last week myself to enjoy some time with him. Friday after we got K off to school we headed out for breakfast and to my doctor's appointment. We had a little time to kill so we walked J over to the water fountains because ya know he was totally amused. :)

Everything checked out good with baby #3 and she seemed to have a little growth spurt.. more on that when I post my six, yes SIX month update tomorrow!! How is time going by so fast, really?? It's crazy! Speaking of time flying.. Happy December folks!

Saturday we had J's second basketball game and my niece's 6th birthday party {Happy Birthday Emma} to attend. Later that night the kids had a sleepover at grandma's while daddy and I hit up the Houston Rockets game. Can I just say that my husband is king of doing things spontaneous.. at which I have no complaints! I am the exact same way, but he's worse. LOL. We scored some awesome last minute seats and it was as close as we've ever sat.. twelve rows up and I swear I could feel the sweat coming off those guys.


Sunday we got up and made our weekly grocery run and decided to grill some burgers for the big Texans game.. at which we won by the way!! I cannot believe they are going to the playoffs.. watch out super bowl, we're coming for ya! My sister and her family came over to join us and the kids decided to make a quick dash the minute they heard the ice cream man drive-by. Kind of sad that it's December and we still have the ice cream man doing his weekend drive-by's. Even more sad is they have about oh three minutes till the ice cream starts to melt, which causes one sticky mess might I add. Just take a look, I have proof.. :)


That evening we rounded up the kiddos to go and see the parade of lights.. the hubs and I have been in the past, but this was a first for the kids. All the firetrucks and police cars a boy can handle and then Santa on top of that.. whoa baby!


It was a great way to end the weekend and I'm somewhat ready to tackle another week.. let's just hope it goes by pretty quick!
