Pretty much sums up the last 48 hours of my life. I'm sure you notice the blog change, not to worry you're in the right spot, I just needed "something new". Not all the features are working, but it's up and I'll have to work out the tweaks later. Thursday we came home from school and played outside while the sun was out. It seems like an eternity since we've had any nice weather so of course we took full advantage.
Who would have thought 24 hours later I would have two sick kiddos and a dog that is literally driving me crazy. I don't care how innocent she looks either, she's become high maintenance.
The verdict.. the flu. Luckily I caught it super early and they are now both on Tamiflu and plenty of other meds to make them feel as best as they can with having that nastiness. Let's just say I have barely gotten any sleep in the last two nights and I feel like a walking time bomb. And to make things worse I have a husband who isn't feeling all too well either. Geez! Really people!!
As soon as we left the docs we made a stop at the pharmacy to pick up meds and a few other things that when my kiddos are sick still to this day make them feel better. The number one being pedialyte popsicles.
And yes in the midst of being "homebound" I've managed to find the time to bring out the Valentine's decor even if it's only January. It's my favorite month out of the whole year and not just because it's my birthday month either. :) I've also jumped on the Pinterest bandwagon, but I'm not making any promises to become an addict. LOL.
I hope to have an update on the kiddos soon that will relate to them bouncing around feverless.
