The hubs and I thought it would be a cool idea to take one last weekend getaway as a {family of four} before baby #3 comes and well this past weekend seemed to have been our only "free" weekend to do so. Jacob starts T-ball this week and well with games every Saturday it makes it hard to do anything. I'm not complaining though, I'm really looking forward to this season as T-ball is the one sport he really loves. I'm just hoping with the timing of the baby and all I don't have to miss a game. Speaking of baby.. Can you believe I will be eight months tomorrow?!? YIKES!! And I am almost 100% done with the nursery so pics are a coming!

I know what most of you are thinking.. swimming in January?? We took the kiddos to a nearby resort that was suppose to have a heated pool, but upon our arrival we were told was not working. I know, major bummer, but of course we still made the best of it. Luckily they had a pretty big size hot tub that wasn't too hot so the kiddos treated that as their own little pool. Kids and their imaginations kill me sometimes. I had to sit out this round, but I did get to soak my feet and enjoy watching them have a ball. :)
That evening we decided to venture out for dinner and found a pretty neat "happening" spot right on the lake with what I would call a pretty amazing view. My son could not get over the karaoke and was front and center the entire time. LOL.
It was a fun weekend and we feel so blessed to be able to spend the time together as a family. I know the kids are getting very excited to meet their baby sister and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready myself. We're hoping to find the time for one last getaway sans kiddos, but that all depends on how long baby girl can hold out. Either way we will make it work, we always do. :)
Happy Monday!
